Festival Fever August
August is special in the cities as well as in the country. Impressive all year, Edinburgh is electrifying this month – an all day and all night celebration. The famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a breathtaking spectacle of martial music, is just one element in this festival city experience, which has as its flagship the main International Festival. With the unruly and irreverent Fringe spilling out of halls and theatres all over the city and into the streets, nowhere is quite like Scotland’s capital in August.
