Island-Hopping July
Who could resist the call of the north and west this month, when the islands lie calm on a silver and blue horizon? The network of ferry links make journey planning and round trips straightforward. There is also plenty going on. For example, the Hebridean Celtic Festival on Lewis makes an impact – last year breaking the Scottish record for the largest ever audience to a live Celtic music performance. The Outer Hebrides this month also feature the Hebridean Maritime Festival.
