It is really still winter, with snow high in the Scottish glens, but lower down this is less likely and there are definite signs of Spring. It’s still a little damp, but daylight is longer lasting and the air is fresh and cool. The countryside is turning green – a sure sign that there’s better weather ahead. March offers a balance of milder weather and dark skies which is perfect for star gazing. If you’re lucky, you might even see the Northern Lights.
