September's Weather

As the summer tapers to an end September offers the perfect opportunity to get out and explore Scotland. It is an often mild and pleasant month and the ideal time to go walking in the countryside and on Scotland’s hillsides to enjoy the clear air, however be prepared for the odd autumnal shower! As the evenings begin to draw in our sunsets and landscapes are often at their most striking in September and the verdant hues of the hillsides start to transform into a mix of regal gold and earthen browns before your very eyes, giving way to Golden October.
